Current position

MSN EMEA Regional Editor, Microsoft
September 2009 – Present

- Identifying and implementing long-term content strategies
- Planning and producing multi-country editorial and commercial specials
- Co-ordinating cross-portal content across 20+ country sites with tens of millions of daily pageviews
- From late 2010, working beyond the initial EMEA remit towards developing global systems to maximise editorial efficiency across c.50 MSN country sites
- Building links among editorial teams in the various markets, as well as with other parts of the wider corporation (from online advertising to Microsoft product development)
- Also running and developing the Ireland and (to July 2010) South Africa portals – including overseeing South Africa’s 2010 World Cup coverage and launching the new Irish homepage and several new channels
