Indeed, the very word "squiffy" originates with Asquith. But the question is, do you prefer your Leaders under the influence of alcohol or cocaine (but whatever Blair's taking, I don't want any)?

Pitt the younger was a chronic drinker – port by the gallon.
Bin Liner was apparently a nice chap until he gave up drinking.
