We've already hit the pledge target, but really want this up to a couple of thousand – in fact, the more the merrier.

We're also keeping this apolitical. The Stop the War Coalition are also planning a demonstration. We are, and will remain, unaffiliated from any political group. Our sole message is "up yours, terrorists" and to show support for their victims.

My thoughts are with Britons, as well as with Spanish, North Americans, Afghanis and Iraqis, all victims of greed for oil. Please stop the madness. Press your governments to withdraw from sovereign countries. Please invest on renewable sources of energy. You have the power and money to replace oil with less sensitive energy sources. Show the world you ARE civilization, do not answer this killings with more killing.
