Alan Milburn loses Labour my vote

Today Programme. This morning. Half asleep. (Am still.) Milburn. “Back door”. Usual.

Then, clincher:

“You’re not just voting for your local representative, you’re not just voting for the government, you’re voting for the Prime Minister.”

Bye bye Labour. Blair + my vote = no fucking way.

Coffee now. Wake up. Link later.

Labour are unlikely to get my vote with their response to the postal vote scandals

have you decided who to vote for now yet, I still count myself as undecided

  2. Alan – shall we put it this way? In my constituency there are five parties putting up candidates: Labour, Conservative, Lib Dem, Green and UKIP. I'm almost certainly not voting Labour, and I'm not going to vote for a Eurosceptic.

That leaves me only one choice, and luckily the candidate for that party has demonstrated themselves to be thoughtful, intelligent, and to hold a number of similar political views to me. They're a good alternative to Glenda Jackson, and a far better alternative to not voting at all.
